Did not wake up until 9:20 a.m. -- and would have slept even later if one of my colleagues did not call and ask to cover her class tonight. Oh well, it was time to get up anyway; plus, I would rather help her than baby-sit a sick husband (who just had surgery) like she does.
Had a leisurely mug of coffee, gently swinging on my upstairs balcony and checking a never-ending stream of email. Nice -- can get used to this schedule!
OK, we interrupt this pleasant daydreaming to list things to do today:
*Finish grading -- is there really a light at the end of this tunnel?
*Teach two classes (4:00 p.m. for my colleague and 6:00 p.m. regularly scheduled)
Not bad -- I can do it!
Teaching one student at a time... Making one yummy treat at a time... Struggling with life... Having Fun!!!
