Faculty Pay is Decreasing? News?

There is an interesting article in the Inside Higher Education: The Evolving (Eroding?) Faculty Job. It discusses a report stating that "professors’ pay fell behind inflation for the second year in a row." Nevertheless, faculty members are blamed for rising college costs. Go figure!
