Improved or staged?

You probably don't remember my postings about a rude student who was giving me a hard time and still enrolled in two of my online courses. Well, she came to 6:00 p.m. orientation tonight, acting like an innocent lamb and politely asking questions.

Sorry but I have mixed feelings about this:

• The nice person and responsible teacher in me wants to pat this little "angel" on the back and praise a greatly improved behavior.
• The hidden "revenger" in me wants to kick this little "angel" and remind her that earlier obnoxious behavior cost me a significant amount of nerve cells.

What did I do? Oh, smiled. :) What do you think?
